Los Angeles, CA April 6, 2023 – Golden Globe®-Winner John Travolta (Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction”, Paramount Pictures’ “Grease”) and Lukas Haas (Warner Bros.’ “Inception”) star in the action heist thriller sequel, “Cash Out 2”. Written by Dipo Oseni And Doug Richardson (“Die Hard 2”, “Bad Boys”), the film was directed by Randall Emmett (“Midnight In The Switchgrass” starring Bruce Willis, Megan Fox, and Emile Hirsch; “Savage Salvation” starring Robert De Niro And John Malkovich).
“Cash Out 2” is produced by Cecil Chambers, Stephen Small, Joel Cohen, and Luke Taylor. The film is located in New Orleans, LA, and Mississippi, and is set to be released on April 10.
Following the success of “Cash Out”, the sequel centers around a master criminal who must save his brother and partner when a heist falls apart. Waiting to capture him is the Interpol agent he’s fallen in love with.
John Travolta is known for his portrayals of Danny Zuko in the Academy Award-nominated “Grease” alongside Olivia Newton-John and Stockard Channing; Edna Turnblad in Adam Shankman’s BAFTA Award-Nominated Musical “Hairspray”; and hitman Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino’s Academy Award-Winning “Pulp Fiction”. He received a Golden Globe for his performance as Chili Palmer in Barry Sonnenfeld’s “Get Shorty” and was nominated for an Academy Award for the role of Tony Manero in “Saturday Night Fever”.
Lukas Haas’ many film credits include Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award-Winning “Inception” with Leonardo DiCaprio And Joseph Gordon-Levitt; Peter Weir’s Academy Award-Winning “Witness” and Tim Burton’s “Mars Attacks!” alongside Jack Nicolson, Pierce Brosnan, and Glenn Close. His additional credits include Focus Features’ “Brick” from Director Rian Johnson and Twentieth Century Fox’s “Widows” starring Viola Davis and Liam Neeson.
